Bambi’s
Story
Bambi is a little micro bully that is only 2 years old – she loves to cuddle and when she is told that she is pretty! Her pet mom noted after her heat cycle that she developed a yellow discharge – this was a sign of a serious infection in her uterus – a pyometra! Her pet mom was able to find the team at Animal Fix Clinic to perform the necessary surgery, but still needed help with funding. SAGE Compassion for Animals was able to assist and Bambi is now home playing with kids and her best dog friend Shadow!
Pyometra is very common in dogs that are not spayed – it can be life-threatening and costly, so the best way to prevent this from happening is to have your dog spayed. It is important for their health and can say you time and money in the future.
