Bonita’s

Story

Bonita has always been healthy since her pet mom found her as a young kitten, bottle-feeding her until she ate regular cat food.  Bonita’s pet mom became worried when she started vomiting and wouldn’t eat – and unfortunately, Bonita was known to chew on things she shouldn’t!  Bonita was diagnosed with a GI obstruction on radiographs by the team at the San Francisco SPCA and surgery was recommended.  The veterinary team reached out to SAGE Compassion for Animals to help fund the surgery and Bonita’s surgery was successful!  Bonita is back home, bossing her dog uncle Pluto around!
