Coco is a 6-year-old Pitbull that started vomiting and having some diarrhea – her pet mom started getting really worried when Coco stopped eating!  The team at Ark Veterinary Care found that Coco’s abdomen was very painful to the touch and the x-rays showed a partial obstruction so recommended surgery.  Unfortunately, Coco’s pet mom didn’t have the funds for an emergency surgery, but SAGE Compassion for Animals was contacted and was able to provide a grant for Coco’s care.  Coco is at home recovering and sleeping it off!
