Kali, a 6-month-old little girl kitty, was minding her own business when her pet grandma didn’t see her and mistakenly sat on her!  She started limping on one of her rear legs and was diagnosed with having a fracture in her hip joint!  Unfortunately, this requires surgery to remove the painful fragment and Kali’s mom did not have all the funds needed for the surgery.  SAGE Compassion for Animals awarded a grant and Kali had her surgery, including a spay, performed at Adobe Animal Hospital, one of our veterinary partners.  She is now resting at home trying to stay out of everyone’s way!
