Mamba had just found her forever home after being adopted from a shelter when her new pet family noted some blood in her urine and that she had missed the litter box.  She had been diagnosed with having a urinary infection – but also urinary stones in her bladder that were likely causing the infection.  They needed to be surgically removed, but Mamba’s pet family wasn’t planning on her needing care so soon and did not have the funds.  Mamba’s family and the veterinary team at The Animal Doctors reached out to SAGE Compassion for Animals and we were able to award a grant and Mamba had her surgery.  She is now home enjoying the holiday season with her new forever family!!
