Dan O’Brien is a founding Partner of Michael Patrick Partners, a design studio in San Francisco. Dan’s 42-year career in design includes a long list of design awards including ADDY, American Corporate Identity, Black Book’s AR100, CA, GDUSA, Graphis, LogoLounge, Mead Annual Report Show, New York Art Directors, Potlatch Annual Report Show, PRINT, San Francisco Advertising Association, The West Coast Show, and a bunch more. He’s taught advanced design at his alma mater, San José State University. He is a past board member of Rebuilding Together Peninsula and a past board member of Ronald McDonald House at Stanford, where his recognition includes the Ronnie Award for Outstanding Community Volunteer. Dan is recently semi-retired and spends his time working on his golf, tennis, visiting grandkids, traveling with his wife Patricia, and enjoying his two Viszlas, Blue and Louie.
