Miracle’s

Story

Little Miracle is just that to her family!  That’s why when they noticed she was panting and uncomfortable and unable to sleep and wasn’t eating well, they were very worried and brought her to an emergency clinic.  They had diagnosed a pyometra – infected uterus – very common in unspayed dogs!!  Miracle’s family could not afford the care that day and started looking for assistance.  This was especially urgent as Miracle had what is known as a “closed pyometra” – she did not have any discharge from her vulva and the uterus was at risk of rupture!  Miracle’s family found SAGE Compassion for Animals to assist with funding and the team at Vets in Vans to perform the surgery ASAP.  Miracle is now home – its a miracle!
