Oreo’s
Story
Oreo was found in a parking lot after likely being hit by a car outside his home. He was brought to North Penninsula Veterinary Emergency Clinic and was surrendered. Oreo was adopted by his new-forever-Mom who worked for the clinic. Once he was stabilized, he was diagnosed with pelvic fractures that needed surgical repair. A board-certified veterinary surgeon was available to come to the clinic to perform the complicated surgery, but Oreo’s new Mom needed help to cover that part of the invoice. She reached out to SAGE Compassion for Animals and we were able to assist with a grant and Oreo had the surgery he needed. He is now home recovering!
