Thor is only 1 years old, but already weighing in over 100 pounds as a Cane Corso!  This large size has helped him in the past as he had a habit of eating things he shouldn’t – but not this time!  Thor’s pet dad took him in when he started vomiting and this time, a foreign body was obstructing his intestines and he needed surgery.  The team at East Hills Veterinary Clinic  was able to do the surgery that day, but Thor’s pet dad didn’t have the money to afford the surgery.  SAGE Compassion for Animals was able to provide the funding and Thor’s surgery – including his neuter! – was a success.  Now he is home, trying desperately to get rid of his plastic cone and being a couch potato hanging with his family!
