Worra’s mom was concerned because she saw Worra vomiting and acting as she did a year ago when she ate something she shouldn’t have.  Worra and her mom live in a homeless encampment and unfortunately, Worra had gotten into something again.  Paw Fund had worked with Worra and her mom in the past and reached out to SAGE Compassion for Animals to see if we could assist in funding a surgery to remove Worra’s intestinal obstruction.  Dr. Li and the team at OakVet Animal Specialty Clinic offered a generous discount and Worra got the urgent surgery she needed.  The team at Paw Fund is helping Worra recover and educating her mom on the best ways to keep Worra safe in a challenging environment.  More to come on how Worra is recovering!
